December 15-16, 2022 | Ketchikan

The Tongass Transition Collaborative was reconstituted in fall 2022, with new members and group charge. On December 15-16, 2022, the new group held their first meeting in Ketchikan, Alaska. The objectives of the meeting were to:

1. Introduce collaborative members, purpose and goals, and process.
2. Gain common understanding of the 5-year Amendment review process and current data analysis.
3. Identify and begin initial discussion of primary issues, concerns, and opportunities.
4. Create a process for continued collaborative dialogue, including working groups, virtual meetings, and information needs.
